TRIGONOMETRY TRIGGERS

Trigo has has always been
an exciting part of High School Life.
It either triggers your engineering
hidden talents, or you can just tell
yourself "trigo is not a necessity
in entering heaven..." as one of
my teacher would often say, as some
of my classmates are not trigono-
metrically born.

How to survive a trigo class and get
A+ nevertheless:

1. Look for friends who can
assist you.

My experience started when
I was groping the ropes of Algebra,
I had two best friends, Erlinda who
was good in acting, and Step who was
born to be a walking Algebra, Geometry book.

Step Tan was my coach in Algebra and Geometry class,
which gave me the foundation in my trigo class.

2. We would spend time practicing the
problems every after class under the Talisay
trees or library.
Honestly we were not nerd
geeks, its the thought of staying over summer
in our hot classroom which scares us, so we
would rather do our best and get the best grade
we can muster, just in case we hit low in
some quizzes, we still had buffer.

3. An important study technique is to
love your teacher, and ask your teacher
to explain it again, if you don't get it.

Don't forget to give her a gift on Christmas.
It's a way of saying thank you for all the
trouble.

4. Keep on practicing, understanding the
concepts.

5. Another technique which never fails is
prayer,
especially when your nerves can eat you
up. This study technique really works. My study
technique is to pray a whole decade of the Rosary
before starting up studying Trigo then, and the
night before the exam. I also made sure, before asking
help from the heavens(esp. from Our Lady and my
dear Friend: My Guardian Angel), was I did my part.
It worked for me, I hope it will work for you too.
